Album is a set of images, image descriptors and audio packaged into a single file with an extension of alb.
Albums can be created manually or online.They can be downloaded from the internet into the Android Phones directly or transferred physically into the device from PC.The power of Album is in the ability for a lay-man to publish content for android phones within 5 minutes or less.Anyone can create and publish Albums by going to www.moblify.com

Personal Albums are created and used by a single individual or a family.Usually they are stored in photo sharing sites like picasa and flickr. It is possible to create adapters for generating Personal Albums that can directly integrate into the Album framework.
Educational Albums are used to tell a concept along with the image. There can be a lot of metadata related to an Album.For example a country flag can have data like the Country Name, Capital, Currency and Dollar Value. It will add value if all are associated. That is what Album does. To support such tasks there is a Data View supported by the Viewer. When you are looking at an image and want to know the Data, you click the D button and then, you are displayed with all the information that the content publisher has stored in for you.If there are links in the text, then you could open that in a browser window by clicking on it.
Entertainment Albums: Just group a set of images ., like the picture collection of your superstar , or the latest movie snaps and generate Albums on the fly in a matter of minutes. It is possible to create your own channels containing the list of relevant albums together and point album to read from those channels.
Viewer is the client application. It is an standard Android installation package(.apk file).It can be installed on to the device by downloading it from here. www.moblify.com/Album.apk
The viewer consumes the album files and displays them.It does the task of separating the content from the viewer application so that the viewer is installed into the device once and then content can be downloaded over the air anytime.

2. Set an image as wallpaper.
3. View a metadata related to an image and redirect the user to the relevant URL.
4. Zoom on a particular image.
5. Play audio.
6. Store albums locally on the device.
7. 3D flipping effect for Image transitions.
8. A Full Screen Image View.
9. Ability to display Channels
10.Provide ultimate control of the application using Settings.
People intending to create content for Android(Publishers) do it through generator.
It is also possible to do this manually.
moblify.com hosts a basic generator for creating albums online. No software installation hassles.
Upload the image from you PC or from the internet and associate it with some relevant data.
Upload an audio file and then select from the options and click on Generate.
2 tasks are done at this point. A copy of the generated album is available for download so that you can add it to your channels.A copy of the same is stored on the server side and assocated with a number. Enter the number in the Moblify section of the viewer to download the created Album.
Repository is a collection of albums. All the albums that are generated using moblify.com are stored remotely over the internet and can be accessed and downladed by using the Moblify link in the viewer. It is also possible to create custom repositories called Channels. A channel is a simple collection of album URL's delimited by a newline.Viewer has the option to change the channel location so that it can read from any publisher's albums.
