ask yourself whether you are bringing all your relevant previous experience to the next year.
just because you have an urgent problem, does not mean your friend will have all the time or knowledge to help you.

brands creates defaults for people, hence save their time.
nobody will be more interested than yourself in building your personal  brand.
break some rules, create some wealth.
playing safe is the most risky option.

match thoughts , words and actions
reset people's expectations on delivery dates.

the concept of book is diminishing in the cyberage. it is no longer a hard bound material. it is a set of thoughts. books on how to do, help acquiring skills, and useful for problem solving.
events give a human touch
money can be earned back, but you cant buy back time.
people cannot be classified, only events can be classified, and it is not possible to identify before, as the experience comes after the event. trying to repeat an event may not guarantee experience.
make others feel good about themselves.
fake it before you make it wont apply when it comes to people.
it is better to keep your mouth shut and appear to be stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
there is a reason why we are given 2 ears and 1 mouth.
listen to yourself first.
poor me syndrome
open ended questions/answers, not boolean ones.
doing ..continue , start, stop.
listen without prejudice.
resist the temptation to reach conclusions instantly.
rocks help
you should already be acting as if you are promoted.
first be then you get.
luck is the meeting point of opportunities and your awareness in grabbing them.
knowing is not doing but doing is doing.
